In order to be eligible for your office's 401(k) plan, you must meet the following requirements.

  • You are 21 years old or older
  • You have worked at your office for at least 1 year
  • You have worked 1,000 hours in a 1 year period


Once you meet the requirements above, you can start making contributions on the next plan “entry date”. Entry dates are on January 1st and July 1st of each year and your contributions can begin on the first payroll processed after that.

If your entry date has passed, don’t worry! You can always fill out the enrollment form by clicking the link above and your payroll will be updated within 1 to 2 weeks.
